2004 at a Glance
What a wild ride 2004 was...
Where do you start? Another outstanding year for Perfection team riders! From a continued showing at Virginia Beaches ECSC by Cam Richards (taking Cole's spot from last years contest), another SC State champion, this time at the newly dubbed Governor's cup by Hunter Lineback "RECOGNIZE!", Kelly Richards exploring unknown surf spots in Fiji thanks to our friends at Oakley (imagine KR meeting with the local Chief to trade trinkets to gain permission to surf the local break - scary ain't it) Tony Silvagni surfing to a 6th place finish behind surfing legend Joel Tudor in the 2004 California Open. Think about it for a minute a Perfection board up on the winners platform with one of the greatest longborders ever, makes you wanna run out in the garage and hug your Perfection, doesn't it? Tony has really done well this year with too many titles to list including 2 National Championships.
Perfection Rocks the Eastern Surfing Championships
...I AM IRONMAN
Once again, Perfection surfboards were seen in great numbers at this years ESA Eastern Surfing Championships, including a sweep of the Ironman/woman Awards. Congrats to Jr. Ironman Hunter Lineback, 2nd place Tony Silvagni, Ironwoman - Keenan Lineback & Ironman - Shawn Clark. other finishes included Hunter Lineback, 1st Boys, 6th Menehune Bodyboard, 5th Men's Open; Keenan Lineback, 4th Women's Bodyboard, 4th Menehune; Aaron Sheringos/All Star 2nd Jr Longboard; Tony Silvagni/All Star, 1st Jr Longboard, 4th Jr Men; Cole Richards, 4th Boys; Shawn Clark, 3rd Men's Longboard; our NSC District finished 3rd in the All Star Tag Team Challenge and former Garden City Pier surfer Jenny Brown took 1st place honors in Senior Women.
LEARN TO SURF AT OUR SURF CAMP
We plan to continue our Surf Camp every Wed. & Thurs. morning during the summer (9am - 12noon)Stay tuned for more details. Classes are limited so you'll get plenty of attention from our in-the-water instructors and we're having some great success stories. Cost is $50 per session and surfboards are provided. To make reservations, give us a call at 843-651-6396. We also have rentals available and great prices on beginner boards.
